In this 1.5 hour private or group lesson, we will cover the basics of throwing on the wheel in the comfort of Lauren’s home studio in Honoka’a. This is a great introduction to the art of ceramics, wether you are a beginner or have worked with clay in the past.

Ceramics on the wheel is all about repetition, the more you do it, the more you find your center, and the easier it is to connect and create. In this lesson, you will have 3 times to create something you desire (creating 3 pieces total), or to simply mess around with the techniques. You are welcome to sign up for the Beginner lesson as many times as you like in order to feel confident in your learnings before moving on to the Intermediate lesson. 

DETAILS:
- All clay, tools, glaze, and firing of your ceramic creation
- Lauren will glaze and fire all of your pieces with a beautiful white gloss glaze that highlights the natural sediments in the clay
- Pieces will be available for pickup 2-4 weeks after the class at Lauren's home studio
- Beginner friendly & all levels are welcome & ages 12+
- Schedule your class on a Saturday starting at 9am

Location: Kukuihaele (10 min drive from Honoka’a, 30 min from Waimea)
